Paw Paw Township Recycling Transfer Station Access

Residents looking to utilize the Paw Paw Township Recycling Transfer Station will need an access card.

2nd and 4th Mondays of each month (except Dec.23 and Veteran's Day)

Social at 11am/Lunch at 11:30ish and

we usually play BINGO 12:30 to 1:30pm sometimes we have a speaker

 

Remember to come get your free lunch if you are at least 60 years old

and live in Lawrence Village or Township and Hamilton Township now.

Others joining us can pay our cost of $12

 

We are always looking for prizes for our Bingo! If you have any new (or like New) items you would like to donate please drop them off at the Township Hall (7am-3pm, Mon.-Thru.) or bring them to the Monday lunches. Thank you

 

We have Game Wednesdays from 1-3pm in the Township's Hall.

 

Battery Recycling Now Available

The Van Buren Conservation District & local partners are starting lithium-ion battery recycling near you! Stop into our drop-off locations to safely and properly dispose of your batteries. Questions? Contact Kalli at 269-633-9314 or resourcerecovery@VanBurenCD.org 

* For fire safety, tape the battery ends before transporting them.

Cannabis Agency Notice

 

 Paid for with a grant from the State of Michigan, Lawrence Township has secure lock boxes available for residents. These boxes help prevent unwanted consumption of legal drugs and provide a safe means of legal transportation. Please visit the Township Hall at 411 N. Paw Paw St. to request a free lock box.

OFFICE HOURS

After hours please use our outside secure drop box.

 

 GENERAL OFFICE HOURS are Monday-Thursday 8am - 3pm.  You may drop off items in the secure drop box located at the office entrance of the Township Hall located at 411 N Paw Paw St, Lawrence outside office hours.

SafeBuilt Represenative

A Represenative from SafeBuilt is in the Township Office Tuesday and Thursday  7am - 4:00pm.  to answer questions and assist people.

 

A SafeBuilt Permit Tech is now in the office lobby daily Tue. and Thurs. 8am-4pm.

 

Treasurer's Office

The Treasurer's office is now open Mondays - Fridays 9am - 3pm and Wednesdays 9am - 6pm(during tax season only).  People needing service may also call the Treasurer's phone line directly at 269-674-3840. If we don't answer please leave a message and we will get back with you.

 

Cannabis Agency Office is open Monday - Friday

8am - 3pm. They are happy to answer questions and assist individuals in all things Cannabis related.
