Lawrence Township is committed to government transparency. All Township meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend monthly Township Board meetings and other public sessions.

Under the Michigan Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.269), all approved meeting minutes are considered public records. Residents have the right to inspect and request access to these documents, whether available online or in person.

New Village Playground Project

Lawrence Joint Parks and Recreation is planning a vibrant, inclusive playground in the Village of Lawrence—a joyful space for children and families to gather and play. A $302,000 fundraising campaign is underway to help secure a DNR matching grant for construction.
