Please take notice that a Regular Board Meeting of the LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES will be held on Jan. 12, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. It will be held in-person at 411 N. Paw Paw St. Lawrence, MI 49064.

The Lawrence Township Cannabis Agency will be hosting a Q & A Forum on December 14, 2022 starting at 6pm. The meeting will be held at the Van Buren Conference Center. Topics will include local cannabis businesses, cannabis laws, and any other cannabis topics of interest.

Cannabis Agency Notice
Paid for with a grant from the State of Michigan, Lawrence Township has secure lock boxes available for residents. These boxes help prevent unwanted consumption of legal drugs and provide a safe means of legal transportation. Please visit the Township Hall at 411 N. Paw Paw St. to request a free lock box.
Lawrence Housing Committee
Lawrence Housing Committee was created by Matthew Sanborn in January of 2022 and accepted by the Lawrence Township Planning Commission in February of 2022. The Lawrence Housing Committee is a joint township/village open committee that aims to increase the available housing stock in both communities. A Represenative from SafeBuilt is in the Township Office Tuesday and Thursday mornings 7am - 11:30am. to answer questions and assist people.
A SafeBuilt Permit Tech is now in the office daily 7:30-4:00pm. She will handle all permits that the township offers through SafeBuilt.

The Treasurer's office is now open Fridays 9am - 4pm
Wednesdays 1-8pm(During Tax Season)(AFTER tax season (Oct 1 – Nov 30) Wed. 1 - 6pm), People needing service may also call the Treasurer's phone line directly at 269-674-3840. If we don't answer please leave a message and we will get back with you.
Cannabis Agency Office is open Monday - Friday
8am - 4pm. They are happy to answer questions and assist individuals in all things Cannabis related.
