The flag features three horizontal bands:

Lawrence Township Receives Sunlight Award for Election Integrity
The Michigan Fair Elections Institute has recognized Lawrence Township with its Sunlight Award as a Responsive Advocate for exemplary service in maintaining accurate voter registration
records and cooperation in addressing duplicate registrations.
“We are honored by this recognition of our commitment to clean and transparent election administration on behalf of Lawrence Township residents,” said Clerk Tracie Rindfield.

New Village Playground Project
Lawrence Joint Parks and Recreation is planning a vibrant, inclusive playground in the Village of Lawrence—a joyful space for children and families to gather and play. A $302,000 fundraising campaign is underway to help secure a DNR matching grant for construction.
