Lawrence Township Emergency Services (LTES) serves as a critical part of the township’s public safety infrastructure. The department is led by a Fire Chief and supported by a dedicated team of volunteer firefighters, emergency medical responders, cadets, and auxiliary members.
LTES responds to fires, medical emergencies, and other urgent incidents within Lawrence Township. The department is committed to protecting lives, property, and the wellbeing of the community through fast, effective emergency response.
Volunteer applications are available at the Lawrence Fire Station. Residents interested in serving as a firefighter or medical responder are encouraged to contact the Fire Chief or Medical Assistant Chief for more information on duties, training requirements, and how to apply.
The LTES Cadet Program provides youth and young adults with an opportunity to learn about fire service and emergency response in a supervised, educational environment. Cadets gain hands-on experience, develop leadership skills, and explore careers in fire and emergency medical services while supporting department operations.
The LTES Auxiliary supports the department through non-emergency roles such as event assistance, fundraising, community outreach, and administrative support. Auxiliary members play an important role in strengthening department operations and community engagement.
